Abstract

Ozljede kostiju lica obuhvaćaju širok spektar prijeloma. Općenito su najčešći prijelomi nosnih kostiju te donje čeljusti. Uzroci mogu biti razni poput pada, tučnjave, prometnih nezgoda ili profesionalne ozljede. Ovim istraživanjem nastojali smo otkriti povezanost uzroka ozljede s vrstom prijeloma, odnosno određenim dobnim skupinama te spolom kojeg više zahvaćaju. Istraživanje je obuhvatilo 230 bolesnika hospitaliziranih u Klinici za kirurgiju lica, čeljusti i usta Kliničke bolnice Dubrava u... More razdoblju od 1.1. do 31.12. 2014. godine zbog akutne ozljede kostiju lica. Analizirani su dob, spol, uzrok ozljede i vrsta prijeloma te prisutnost udruženih ozljeda drugih regija. Rezultati su pokazali da muškarci čine 77% pacijenata, a dobna skupina s najvećim udjelom prijeloma je od 20 do 29 godina života. Pad je bio najčešći uzrok prijeloma (30%). Najčešća ozljeda pri padu je prijelom donje čeljusti, koji je ujedno činio i najveći udio prijeloma općenito (32%). U muškaraca je najzastupljeniji uzrok ozljede bila tuča (33%), a u žena pad (58%). Od ozljeđenika u tuči 92% su bili muškarci. Prometne nezgode bile su uzrok u 25% ozljeđenika; od toga 50% biciklista. Ozljede na radu i u sportskim aktivnostima bile su jednako česte (po 7%). Udio udruženih ozljeda drugih regija tijela je 24%: najviše u prometu, a niti jedna u sportu. Zaključili smo da promet kao uzrok zahvaća sve dobne skupine, podjednako mlade i one iznad 50 godina, dok su padovi češći u starijoj populaciji. Abstract (english)

Facial bones injuries include a wide range of fractures. In general, the most common fractures are of nasal bones and lower jaw. They can be caused by a variety of events such as falls, assaults, traffic accidents or occupational injuries. In this research, we tried to find the connection between the cause of the injury and the type of a fracture, or the certain age and a sex group they affect more. More Surgery of the Dubrava University Hospital in the period from 1.1. to 31.12. 2014 due to the facial bone acute injuries. We analyzed age, sex, cause of the injury, type of the fracture and the presence of associated injuries of other regions. The results showed that men make up 77% of patients, and the age group with the largest share of fractures is between 20 and 29 years of age. The fall was the most common cause of fractures (30%). The most common injuries in fall is a lower jaw fracture, which is also the most common fracture in general (32%). Assault (33%) was the most common cause of injury for men while fall was for women (58%). Men accounted for 92% of the injured in a fight. Traffic accidents were the cause in 25% of the injured; out of which 50% cyclists. Injuries at work and in sports activities were equally frequent (7%). The share of associated injury to other regions of the body is 24%: the most traffic, but none of the sport. We concluded that traffic accidents are common cause in all age groups, both young people and those over 50, while falls are more common in older population. Violence is, as expected, the most frequent in younger men, and work injuries in the middle aged.
