Abstract

Ovaj pregled dopaminskoga želučanoga ulkusa započinje sa dvije različite ključne točke, Selyeovim i Szabinim opisom cisteaminom izazvanih duodenalnih ulkusa u štakora kao model za duodenalne stres-ulkuse u pacijenata, Szabin cisteaminski
duodenalni ulkus kao model dopaminskoga duodenalnoga cijeljenja, cisteamina kao dopamiskog antagonista, dopaminskih agonista (protuulkusni učinak), dopaminskih antagonista (ulkusogeni učinak). Najprije, spomenute su početne studije o dopaminskoj prisutnosti u želučanome soku. Zatim, pregledno je prikazana, s obzirom na vrijeme otkrića, terapijska važnost i svojstva koja proizlaze iz protuulkusnoga djelovanja raznih dopaminskih agonista, koja snažno nadilaze prilično perzistentan
povoljan učinak koji se dokazuje u raznih dopaminskih antagonista. U međuvremenu, povoljni učinci nekoliko peptida (primjerice, amilina, kolecistokinina, leptina te stabilnoga želučanoga pentadekapeptida BPC 157, predloženoga kao aktivnoga
medijatora dopaminske moždano-crijevne osovine) su bili uključeni u sagu o dopaminskome želučanome ulkusu. Kako bi se uklopio problem dopaminskih agoinsta/antagonista u ukupni terapijski koncept, razmotrena je važnost dopamina u stresu (cisteamin kao prototip duodenalnoga stresnoga ulkusa) te citoprotekcija (cisteamin u maloj dozi kao prototip citoprotektivnih agensa; cisteaminski duodenalni ulkus u gastrektomiranih štakora).

Abstract (english)

This dopamine gastric ulcer healing review takes two distinctive key points, the Selye and Szabo description of the cysteamine-induced duodenal ulcer in rats as duodenal stress ulcer in patients, the Szabo’s cysteamine duodenal ulcer as the dopamine duodenal healing, cystemine as dopamine antagonist, dopamine agonists (anti-ulcer effect), dopamine antagonists (ulcerogenic effect). Firstly, we mentioned antecedent studies on the dopamine presence in the stomach and gastric juice. Then, we reviewed, in timeline, therapy significance and possibilities coming from the anti-ulcer potency of the various dopamine agonists, which is highly prevailing over the quite persistent beneficial evidence arising from the various
dopamine antagonists. Meantime, the beneficial effects of the several peptides (i.e., amylin, cholecystokin, leptin, and stable gatric pentadecapeptide BPC 157, suggested as acting mediator of the dopamine brain-gut axis) were included in the dopamine gastric ulcer story. To place dopamine agonists/antagonists issue into the general therapy concept, we
considered the dopamine significance in the stress (cysteamine as prototype of the duodenal stress ulcer) and cytoprotection (cysteamine in small dose as prototype of the cytoprotective agents; cysteamine duodenal ulcer in gastrectomized rats).
