Abstract

Stopalo čini jedinstvenu cjelinu te tvori završni dio donjega uda. Uloga stopala može se podijeliti na statičku i dinamičku. Ozljede stopala sve su učestalije i složenije, posebno u visokorazvijenim zemljama. Od velikog su socio-ekonomskog značaja jer najviše zahvaćaju mlađu, radno sposobnu populaciju. Ozljede stopala možemo podijeliti na ozljede mekih tkiva, ozljede kostiju i ligamenata, iščašenja i složene ozljede. Prijelomi kostiju stopala čine oko šestinu svih prijeloma kostiju donjeg uda. Zbog složenosti građe stopala i važnosti njegove funkcije predstavljaju dijagnostički i terapijski izazov. Pod prijelome stopala spadaju prijelomi kostiju stopala te iščašenja zglobova stopala. Klinička slika takvih ozljeda ovisi o vrsti i jačini djelovanja sile na stopalo, a karakterizirana je boli, oteklinom, ograničenjem pokreta i deformitetima stopala. Dijagnoza se postavlja temeljem anamnestičkih podataka o nastanku ozljede, a potvrđuje se radiografskim snimanjem. Glavna radiografska pretraga je RTG u dvije projekcije, a za detaljniji prikaz i rekonstrukciju ozljede koristi se CT. Liječenje ovisi o težini ozljede i stupnju oštećenja okolnih struktura. Može biti konzervativno i kirurško, a imobilizacija je potrebna nakon oba tipa liječenja u trajanju od nekoliko tjedana do dva mjeseca. Cilj liječenja je vraćanje potpune funkcije stopala prije ozljede ili što većeg opsega pokreta kod težih ozljeda. Nakon provedenog liječenja potrebna je fizikalna rehabilitacija pacijenata.

Abstract (english)

The foot makes a unique whole and forms the final part of the lower limb. The role of the foot can be divided into static and dynamic. Foot injuries are becoming more frequent and complex, especially in high developed countries. They are of great socio-economic importance as they most affect younger, working population. Foot injuries can be divided into soft tissue injuries, bone and ligament injuries, dislocations and complex injuries. Bone fractures are responsible for one-sixth of all lower limb fractures. Because of the complexity of the foot and the importance of its function, it is a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge. Foot fractures include bone fractures and joint dislocations. The clinical presentation of such injuries depends on the type and strength of force acting on the foot and is characterized by pain, swelling, movement restraint, and foot deformities. The diagnosis is based on patient history on the occurrence of injury and is confirmed by radiographic imaging. The main radiographic method is X-ray imaging in two projections, and CT is used for more detailed visualization and reconstruction of the injury. Treatment depends on the severity of injury and the degree of damage to the surrounding structures. It can be conservative and surgical, and immobilization is required after both types of treatment for a few weeks up to two months. The goal of the treatment is to restore the complete function of the foot before the injury or the larger the movement range in the case of severe injuries. When immobilization is removed, rehabilitation of the patient's foot is required.
