Abstract | Uvod: Zadovoljstvo pacijenata pruženom zdravstvenom skrbi jedan je od pokazatelja
kvalitete zdravstvenih usluga. Ono ovisi o pacijentovim očekivanjima, vrijednostima,
prijašnjem iskustvu liječenja ali isto tako i o nizu psiholoških, socijalnih i demografskih
čimbenika. Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je ispitati razinu zadovoljstva pacijenata pruženom
skrbi na Zavodu za urologiju Kliničke Bolnice Sveti Duh.
Materijali i metode: U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 90 pacijenata koji su bili
hospitalizirani od svibnja do rujna 2022. godine. Instrument istraživanja bio je validirani
upitnik o zadovoljstvu pacijenata pruženom skrbi u zdravstvenoj ustanovi. Podatci
dobiveni istraživanjem analizirani su metodama deskriptivne statistike (tablice
frekvencije, hi-kvadrat test, Fisherov egzaktni test ) i prikazani na razini značajnosti od
P<0,05.
Rezultati: Pristupom medicinske sestre/tehničara pri prijemu iznimno je zadovoljno
88,9% pacijenata, predstavljanjem 86,7%, informiranošću o provedenim postupcima i
intervencija 78,9%. Stručnošću medicinskih sestara/ tehničara pri obavljanju
zdravstvene skrbi iznimno je zadovoljno 86,7%, osiguravanjem privatnosti pri
obavljanju higijene 79,9% te pristupom pri liječenju boli 83,3% ispitanika. Visoka razina
zadovoljstva iskazana je mogućnošću primjene religijskih potreba tijekom
hospitalizacije (81,1% ispitanika), informiranošću obitelji o njihovom trenutnom
zdravstvenom stanju (75,6% ispitanika), a s obzirom na svoje iskustvo liječenjem
83,33% ispitanika preporučilo bi boravak na zavodu nekom od svojih prijatelja ili
poznanika. Ovim istraživanjem nisu utvrđene statistički značajne razlike u zadovoljstvu
pacijenata pruženom skrbi s obzirom na dob, spol i stupanj obrazovanja.
Zaključak: Ispitanici su iskazali visoku razinu zadovoljstva zdravstvenom skrbi na
Zavodu za urologiju KB Sveti Duh, posebno komunikacijom i stručnošću medicinskih
sestra i tehničara. Zadovoljstvo pacijenata pruženom skrbi trebalo bi kontinuirano
pratiti kako bi se kvaliteta pružanja skrbi unaprijedila, a pri tome jednu od ključnih uloga
imaju medicinske sestre/tehničari. |
Abstract (english) | Introduction: Patient satisfaction with the health care is one of the indicators of the
quality of health services. It depends on the patient's expectations, values, previous
treatment experience, but also on a number of psychological, social and demographic
factors. The aim of this research was to examine the level of patient satisfaction with
the health care at the Institute of Urology, Clinical Hospital Sveti Duh.
Materials and methods: 90 patients who were hospitalized from May to September
2022 participated in the research. The research instrument was a validated
questionnaire on patient satisfaction with the care provided in the health care facility.
The data obtained from the research were analyzed using descriptive statistics
methods (frequency tables, chi-square test, Fisher's exact test) and presented at a
significance level of P<0.05.
Results: 88.9% of patients were exceptionally satisfied with the approach of the nurse
at the reception, 86.7% with the presentation, 78.9% with the information about the
performed procedures and interventions. 86.7% of respondents were exceptionally
satisfied with the expertise of nurses when performing health care, 79.9% with ensuring
privacy when performing hygiene, and 83.3% with treatment of pain. A high level of
satisfaction was expressed by the possibility of applying religious needs during
hospitalization (81.1% of the respondents); by provision of information of their health
to their families (75.6%), and 83.33% of the respondents would recommend treatment
at the institution to their relatives, friends or acquaintances. This research did not
establish statistically significant differences in patient satisfaction with the care
provided with regard to age, gender and level of education.
Conclusion: Respondents expressed a high level of satisfaction with health care at
the Institute of Urology Clinical Hospital Sveti Duh, especially with the communication
and expertise of nurses. Patients' satisfaction with the health care should be
continuously monitored in order to improve the quality of health care. |
