Abstract

Primopredaja bolesnika definira se na različite načine te ne postoji opće prihvaćena definicija (engl. handover, hand-off,shift-report, patient transfer). Informacije i odgovornost o brizi bolesnika prenose se medicinskim sestrama/tehničarima koji preuzimaju smjenu, kako bi imali uvid u daljnje provođenje zdravstvene njege. U ovome je radu ispitano utječe li i na koji način primopredaja sestrinske službe na kvalitetu zdravstvene njege bolesnika.
Cilj ovoga rada bio je ispitati koliko procjena primopredaje sestrinske službe i prijenosa informacija između medicinskih sestara/tehničara utječe na kvalitetu zdravstvene njege.
Za potrebe rada provedeno je istraživanje u kojemu je sudjelovala 141 medicinska sestra/tehničar zaposlen na odjelima Opće bolnice Vinkovci. Istraživanje se provodilo anonimnim upitnikom koji je sadržavao 26 pitanja s ponuđenim odgovorima, a koja su povezana s primopredajom sestrinske službe u Općoj bolnici Vinkovci.
Rezultati pokazuju da se primopredaja na odjelima Opće bolnice Vinkovci provodi redovito, strukturirano, usmenim i pisanim putem te obuhvaća detaljnje infomacije o bolesniku. Prijenos informacija nakon smjene utječe na kvalitetnije provođenje zdravstvene njege u Općoj bolnici Vinkovci.
Zaključno je reći kako prijenos informacija na primopredaji sestrinske službe utječe na kvalitetu provođenja zdravstvene njege. Informacije dobivene na primopredaji imaju utjecaj na indikatore zdravstvene njege. Međusobna komunikacija i odnos zdravstvenih djelatnika ima utjecaj na prijenos podataka te bi se trebalo poraditi na profesionalnijem odnosu.

Abstract (english)

The handover of patiens is defined in many different ways, i.e. a generally accepted definition of the term does not exist. It refers to the transfer of responsibility for and information about the care of patients to nurses and nursing technicians who take over the shift, so that they may have insight into providing further medical attention to patients. This paper examines if and how nursing handover affects the quality of health care provided to patients.
The aim of this paper is to examine how much the evaluation of nursing handover and the transfer of information among nurses and nursing technicians influences the quality of health care.
141 nurses and nursing technicians, employed at the departments of County General Hospital Vinkovci, took part in a research study conducted for the purposes of this paper. The study was administered anonymously through a questionnaire. The questionnare was nominal-polytomous and contained 26 questions. The offered answers were related to nursing handover in County General Hospital Vinkovci.
The results show that nursing handover in County General Hospital Vinkovci is administered regularly, systematically, in a both oral and written manner. What is more, it includes the exchange of detailed information about the patients. The exchange of information after the end of the shift allows for a better provision of health care in County General Hospital Vinkovci.
In conclusion, it can be said that the transfer of information during nursing handover affects the quality of health care. The information received during handover influences the indicators of health care. Interpersonal communication and interpersonal relations among the health-service staff influence the transfer of information. Therefore, the employees should put an effort into having a more professional relationship with each other.
