Abstract

Paradoks današnjeg doba „povezanosti“ uvjetovanog tehnološkim napretkom
čovjeka očituje se u istovremeno rastućoj epidemiji usamljenosti. Interpersonalna, ali
i intrapsihička separacija koje se nalaze u podlozi ovog problema uvjetuju otuđenost
modernog čovjeka kako od drugoga, tako i od sebe samoga.
Cilj ovoga rada jest razumjeti i obrazložiti podležeće psihodinamske i socijalne
aspekte paradoksa ljudske psihe, koji se ne pojavljuju samo u simptomatici, već i
mogućim rješenjima. Naime, paradoks kao koncept sadržavanja i povezivanja dviju
suprotnosti postaje sinonim intrapsihičke i interpersonalne integracije u društvu koje
vrednuje separaciju. Važnost i sveprisutnost jedinstva suprotnosti obrazlažem u
kontekstima nagona, psihičke strukture, objektnih odnosa, međuljudskih interakcija a
onda i u samom psihoterapijskom pristupu.
Kao glavne „alate“ pronalaska zajedničkog (trećeg) prostora koji služi integraciji, kako
u psihoterapiji, tako i u svakodnevnim međuljudskim interakcijama, naglašavam
kreativnost i osjećanje, odnosno empatiju prema sebi i drugome.

Abstract (english)

The paradox of today's age of "connectedness" conditioned by technological
advancement is evident with the simultaneously growing loneliness epidemic.
Intrapsychic and interpersonal separation underlying these problems lead to the
alienation of the modern man, both from others and from himself. The concept of
paradox emerges not only within the symptomatology but also as the potential
solution to such conditions. The aim of this study is to understand and elucidate the
underlying psychodynamic and social aspects of the paradox as a valuable concept
containing two opposites - the concept of intrapersonal and interpersonal integration
in a society that values separation. The importance and ubiquity of the unity of
opposites are explained in the context of instincts, structure of the psyche, object
relations, interpersonal interactions, as well as in the psychotherapeutic approach.
As the main "tools" in finding a common (third) space for integration, I emphasize
creativity and feeling, namely empathy towards oneself and the other, both in
psychotherapy and in everyday interpersonal interactions.
