Abstract

Duboka venska tromboza je stanje u kojem dolazi do formiranja tromba u dubokim venama. Do nastanka tromba može doći zbog više razloga, od poremećaja u protoku, malformacije u anatomiji venskog sustava pa do pridruženih bolesti koje imaju direktan ili indirektan utjecaj na zgrušavanje krvi i nastank tromba. Važno je prepoznati bolest, koja se prezentira nespecifičnim simptomima i započeti pravodobno liječenje. U dijagnostičkom postupku se možemo poslužiti raznim alatima kao što su ultrazvučne pretrage, MRI ili CT uz naravno biološke pretrage i klinički pregled. Od liječenja imamo na raspolaganju više metoda, od farmakoloških antikoagulantnih i tromblitičkih metoda, farmakomehaničkih metoda te kirurških metoda. Svake od njih imaju određene prednosti koje možemo iskoristiti za optimalnu terapiju.

Abstract (english)

Deep venous thrombosis is a condition in which a blood clot formes in the deep veins of the body. The formation of the blood clot can occur for various reasons such as: disruption of the blood flow, malformations in the anatomy of the venous system, other diseases which are responsible directly or indirectly in irregularities in the blood clotting system and the formation of the thrombi. It is important to recognize the disease which is often presented with unspecific symptoms and start with the treatment as soon as possible. For acquiring a correct diagnosis we have at our diposal a wide range of different diagnostic methods such as ultrasonogram, MRI and CT including bloodwork and clinical examination. As for the treatment methods we have a wide variety of pharmacological anticoagulants and thrombolytic drugs, pharmacomechanical and surgical approaches. Any of the mentioned methods above, can be used simmultaneously for achieving optimal treatment for each individual patient.
